Clark J. Jensen, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Clark did his undergraduate studies at Simpson College. He obtained his B.S. in Health Services in 1974 and Doctor of Optometry 1976 at Pacific University. In 1997 Dr. Clark was appointed Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Clark joined Jensen Optometrist in 1976 and has been in practice for 31 years. He was Contributing Editor of Optometry Today, a professional journal, and has published articles in Optometry Today, The Contact Lens Spectrum, and the South African Optometrist.

Dr. Clark loves to teach and has done so as Senior Lecturer at University of the North, Sovenga, South Africa. He was also Director of Optometry Clinics while at University of the North, and has given continuing optometric education lectures within the United States as well as South Africa. He is a member of the Iowa Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, South African Optometric Association, a Fellow of American Academy of Optometry, past president of the Heart of America Chapter of the American Academy of Optometry, Board Member and Treasurer of the American Society of Corneal and Refractive Technologies, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH)/Iowa, and is the Iowa Representative on the Vision Service Plan Regional Professional Committee.

Dr. Clark's community involvement includes being a current member of the Grinnell United Methodist Church, Grinnell Lions Club, and a past President of the Grinnell Jaycees. Dr. Clark is on the Grinnell Regional Medical Center Foundation Board, and past Chairman on Grinnell Regional Medical Center's Board of Trustees.

Dr. Clark continues to speak at continuing education seminars as well as educate his staff and patients.



Scott B. Collings, O.D.

Dr. Scott Collings joined the Jensen Optometrists team in August 2008. He graduated from Illinois College of Optometry where he was the Class Representative for three years, a teaching assistant, Gold Key Member, Clinical Excellence Award, and received the Dr. Irving A. Kernis Memorial Award. He has gone on two mission trips to Mexico with SVOSH (Students Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity). He is a member of the Iowa Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and is an InfantSEE provider.

Dr. Collings is also involved in the Poweshiek Leadership Board and Adult Recreational Sports Leagues.



Kara S. Kremer, O.D.

Dr. Kara Kremer joined the Jensen Optometrists team in August 2008. She graduated from Illinois College of Optometry where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, was on the Dean's List, a Gold Key Member, Tomb & Key and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Socities, Clinical Honors Program, Contact Lens Society, and a teaching assistant. She went on a mission trip to Mexico for VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity). Dr. Kremer is a member of the Iowa Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and is an InfantSEE Provider.



Office Manager/Compliance Officer

Linda has been working with Dr. Clark Jensen and Dr. Scott Jensen for over 27 years. Linda is experienced in all areas of the practice and is devoted to quality customer service.



Brooke, C.P.O., Optical Dispensary Supervisor

Brooke joined the Jensen Optometrist team in July 1997. Brooke is the Optical Dispensary Supervisor. Brooke oversees our in house lab ordering, cutting lenses and repairing eyewear. She is a member of the Iowa Optometric Assistants Association. Brooke is a Certified Paraoptometric.



Jenny, C.P.O.A., Insurance Specialist

Jenny is a graduate of the University of Iowa. She joined the Jensen Optometrist team in October 2000. Before taking the position of Insurance Specialist, she was Dr. Scott's assistant. Jenny is a member of the Iowa Optometric Assistants Association and is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant.



Debby, Assistant

Debby is a graduate of St. Ambrose University. Debby joined the Jensen Optometrist team in March 2002. Debby enjoys assisting the doctors and working in the office part time. Debby is also Chair of the Board of Trustees at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.



Holly, C.P.O.A., CL Specialist

Holly started at Jensen Optometrists in February 2005. She went to Kirkwood College. Holly is a member of the Iowa Optometric Assistants Association and a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant. She is currently Dr. Scott's assistant.
